"Stratovarius Discography"'s Wikipedia page says in the albums "Illumination/early 2011".
What The fuck? Was it an hacker or a stupid guy?
THIS IS A QUESTION TO THE BAND MEMBERS! [/b]

I just read this and I'm every bit as mad as you are. Who is this malicious bastard, and how DARE he suggest there will be a new album out shortly? :pissed2:
...
And why Illumination? I thought we agreed on "Return to Polaris" featuring guest mongolian-throat-singing from Timo Tolkki?? :crazy1:

The information stills there. The only official information we have about Stratovarius appeared in their myspace on september 8 :
Stratovarius Here we are in the middle of the northern woods, underneath the starry sky...Sealed inside of the small cabin for two weeks while outside the wolfes howl. We're making the most powerfull power metal lyrics and recording some extremely mighty and epic vocals with Timo to our upcoming album. The best yet to come...
Matias
Let's see if Jens or Lauri (the usual posters here) can tell us something. But ...6 weeks¿?...They said the album will be released early 2011 as wikipedia says...who knows if this is true or not, wikipedia is not a 100% reliable source. Anyway, it's a cool name.
...Faster than light, higher than the sky, stronger than steel...We´re the legions of the Twilight...
browneyedgirl wrote:Illumination is a great name for an album. Is this really the official title?
It is called Illumination according to their Argentine record company. Now it seems they will release a single before their tour and the album comes in mid January.
And I heard also that they will come to Argentina with Helloween!!!!!
Coooool!!!

Why? You don't believe in light?
Maybe instead of 4th Dimension, Destiny, and Visions they should have named the albums "Snell's Law", "Pythagorean Theorem", and "Menopause". You know- something grounded in reality.

Yes, and Polaris album was about telescopes.
Arkash....Why religious? Then Destiny, Visions, Elements or even Polaris could be religious too? Illumination means light, and that's religious just if you want, or another concept if you don't want. I think it's an spiritual name, and that fits with Strato. It's a perfect name for an Stratovarius album/lyrics/music imo. Anyway, let's wait and see if this is the real name or not.

Illumination could also describe a moment during writing and recording the album, some point where they were satisfied and confident that what they created is good. So in which case I think it would be a very appropriate title, and also a "strato-ish" one in a way.
So if anything of this is true, especially a release of a single later this year, I'm really hyped about it - good chances to hear a new song in Langen in december

And where have YOU been, my sister? Don't make yourself a stranger! :luv1: I will write many poems for you later, for free! I won't send you a bill, since you already have one, jaja! Stay away from the pondweed and the quack cocaine.

Hi brother! Long time no seen, as they say here in Texas. It so happened that i flew to the Spanish pond and they talked very strange, so I went to mr Google and asked him what they said. I understood that they talked about you and me and he gave me some sentences to answer them with. It didn't help. They didn't like me, so I am back in my Phallaspond now. Please come and visit us! Onkel and me... :luv1:
