Do you know Ayreon? It's the most famous project bij the Dutch guitarist Arjen Lucassen. He has a few other projects and one of them is Star One. With Star One he released an album a few years ago. And now finally there is a new album.

That trailer sounds good and Russel Allen is thankfully back on this one as well. I'll definitely check it out.

Ayreon is great!
My favorites are Universal Migrator, Human Equation, and Electric Castle.

I heard Stratovarius on a metal compilation and thought the singer Timo had a very pleasant voice. I got in touch with him through email and he was immediately interested in participating. We immediately hit it off, and because we have the same sense of humor, we laughed so hard and had funny pictures made of the both of us. I used Timo's voice very differently from what people are used to hearing on Stratovarious. Unfortunately the song he sings is not one of my best songs, but I think he did a great job singing it, which definitely added more value to the song.

I agree on that one. THE is one of the best story's Arjen ever wrote. But musically I like 01011001 1% more. They are both near perfection.

I love Star One, but I am suspect about the new album. Digital Rain just really did not do anything for me.

Well Star One only has one other studio album and one live album. Ayreon you should listen from the first album because the lyrics loosely form a story. But you could also start with Ayreon's The Human Equation. The one's a story on itself. Really cool.

I'm listening to the forthcoming album Victims of The Modern Age right now. It's really cool! Definately going to buy this!

I agree! It's really cool. I love Digital Rain and 24 Hours (Damian Wilson's voice... :luv2:). But I love the rest too. It's just wonderful!

Yeah, Damian was outstanding, though others were great too. Floor had very short parts though. :/
