Now who's not opening his mind eh :D?
Ok, good point I guess.
But having an open mind does not mean liking everything.

In Unia, I really enjoyed the first four tracks but after that it seems all over the place. I can't really get into it; maybe I need to listen more carefully.

Agreed. I can't say I've listened to the rest of it enough, but the first few are awesome.

And yet, by not churning out more Eclipticas and Silences, they have the balls to try something new - The Days of Grays is one of the most creative albums I've heard.
oh my god how many times people use that phrase to kill a band or justify it?? I would say the same when metallica released Load and Reload or St Anger, "they have the balls to do something different" and years later the members of the band admit: "we dont know what we were doing back then" .... :x the same shit this is, The Days Of GAYS..I mean grays...is a dull album , no balls, and there is nothing creative there havent we heard those balads in all the previous sonata albums? last drop falls, Tallulah, etc etc.....please...look what you make me do: a long post...

This is true.

I would classify them melodic rock or something like that.

Is there something wrong with sex changes or people who decide to do that?

Also, re-read that big post you made criticizing TDoG. You don't need to listen to it if you don't like it, it's ok
ok buddy...when I said "havent we heard those songs before" Im saying why repeating yourself?? and make believe that is something new, or different??I love ecliptica, and silence, winterhearts guild, I love those albums but certainly I dont want all the ballads of those records RE DONE, change the names, and into one new album...thats why I said....No balls,no guts, no power, no soul, whatever you wanna call it...

about sex change, people can do with their lives whatever they want to. doesnt bother me.

Are you deliberately contradicting me to create a paradoxical caper, or merely expressing your personal musical preferences under the pretense of my name? ???

Bad: Angra's Fireworks. I had previously bought Angels Cry so I got this one thinking it might be just as good. Heard it once, never touched it again.

Worn out album: There have been many over the years, but more recently, Helloween's Gambling With The Devil.

I can only stand it until "Metal Icarus"...After that, I agree with you; it's their weakest album
