Jens wrote somewhere that in the "plain skin" some things won't work properly...Maybe that's why. Try switching skins, and if that doesn't work then try changing your PC
Seriously, I have nothing against Apple, but that is puzzling. NE, I'm sure there's a simple reason for that problem you are having.
I have an eerie problem with tabs mysteriously disappearing, and then reappearing sometimes 20 minutes later on my Windows computer. I googled about it and found lots of people have the same problem. Nothing serious, but kinda annoying. Sometimes I think there is a ghost in my machine.

Oh BEG! You always make me laugh
XP is considered out-of-date by many, and Microsoft I think has stopped supporting XP. It's Windows 7 all the way now. But I like XP and I'm gonna stick with it.

Out-of-date? I'm still using XP and I have to say I prefer it a lot more than 7
I think the gods punished me in a sense last night for being such a smartass/comedian in my replies to you on this topic, NE. I found a wonderful dollmaking site and I could see it in Firefox, but it would not allow me to drag and drop the props. So, I went to Internet Explorer and damn it---I could not even see the damn images on that site! I loaded the page a zillion times and finally a pop-up to download Flash 10.1 appeared. OMG! The website requires flash to even see it!(I have Flash installed on the Firefox browser but not IE) Anyway, I installed an updated Flash version and now all is well in dollmaker land.
In other words, did you check to see if the site requires Flash or not to see images?
I'm still gonna use chrome, though. It's a fast browser, and easier to use. Firefox is great also, but you have to make some twitches to make it faster.
Well, Foxfire doesn't support alot of draganddrop dollmakers, but IE does. Otherwise I hate IE. Foxfire is faster than IE. It's not perfect but it's really good. Soon Firefox 4 will be out, and it is supposedly going to be great. I guess we'll see.
