Amazing show last night in Lund, really awesome setlist! I think you made a lot of new fans tbh, many of my friends who havent been interested in you before went "ooh this stuff's really awesome, need moar".

And yes I was the (only?) one who screamed when you said you were gonna play something from 4th dimension and Timo said "oh there's someone who pretends he knows about 4th dimension album")

The show in Eindhoven was a very nice package with Helloween. Stratovarius did a great job, especially drummer replacement Alexander. He is incredible and also very kind. The setlist was very uptempo and the band members had a lot of fun on stage. songs like ' Phoenix' and of course ' Hunting High And Low' were played. Excellent show and the feedback from the crowd was great. Only one new song is played that night ' Darkest Hours.' It it is more progressive and still an ode to the power-metal roots! It promises a lot for the new album!

I agree with you fully. I also screamed when he said he was going to play something from the 4th dimension, and when he sung Distant Skies, I sung it from the heart because when I come to Sweden I felt exactly like that. The trip to Lund was the fulfilling of a dream I had from long time ago. I also get the autograph from all the helloween guys (even when I had to stay in the snow until 2 am, I cans say proudlythat I am metal :D), Matias and Lauri from Strato, and Anders Johansson from Hammerfall. So, I touched heaven with my bare hands.

BTW, I was the Dr Stein who come up onstage :D If you have any pic of that, please sent it to me.

Nope. He joked about the shoe number. The shoe number isn't affected by body weight.

Gig in Warsaw

Post by stratopoland »

I was on the gig in Warsaw after one-and-half break and it was amazing, again! I'm very disappointed only for one thing. It was second Stratovarius' show for me and second time they played as a support. One hour is undeniably insufficient for such band. Setlist was quite good, the same like in Tampere. I was really happy when they played Against the Wind and Distant Skies. Phoenix as an opener sounds good. I'm impressed of Speed of Light. Matias played this one absolutely great, fast and clean. In my opinion he is more confident than on Polaris Tour. It was nice to hear Darkest Hours from upcoming album. It's a pity that they didn't play more songs from Elysium, but ok :) It was too shortly for me, too shortly. Helloween's show was also great. Great band! I have a few pics from that show: :P
