Now that is something I believe in, I mean 18 minutes? That's a hell of a work

he said he finished it 8 months after he started it, not 8 months work of 50 hour work weeks or something. he was not working on the song 8 months of work days. if it took 50 hours or so to write a song, that can be done in one work week or it can be done over as much time as desired. a person could put those 50 hours in 3 days if they wanted to. i think time worked on the song is a better indication then start to finish of how much work was involved time commitment wise.

even if he wrote all the songs in a half hour, it would still likely take months to get everything together for it to be recorded and to get a label and release date and marketing for a record. tollki wirtes his songs in minutes and then takes a month or so or longer with just studio time when he has the budget

he did not start the project the moment he left sonata arctica. the whole thing was likely just put together in some months once he actualy started putting things together.

I agree with Icecab, I think it was more of a thing were he just spent several hours a day working on the thing but the rest of the time he was out having a life like the rest of us.

He's lying. They all just have violent intercourse with their instrument all day long.

one would think that many fans think that way, they don't take into account that musicians have other hobbies instead of just music, I mean I like to play baseball in my time off.
