It has no guitar solo, just a guitar melody playing the melody line of the chorus
that IS a guitar solo,

it's a type of solo. there are more types of solos than shred and improvisation.

and if Icecab cared what you thought, that post would have value, sadly the only thing more worthless than Icecab is taking an argument with him seriously.

Rebel, will be great to read your buckethead bible review site. That will help pick out which albums to pick up. Be sure to include any album he plays a note on.

You state something as 100% fact when it isn't.

what did he call it then?
I'm not sure I'd call it a "regular solo" (shred or obvious improvisation)
if it's not a regular solo, then it's a irregular solo. why not just say "I'm not sure I'd call it a solo" if he did not think it was a solo? nonetheless, it's a lead instrument playing a variation of the main vocal theme with unobtrusive accompaniment. jen's did not call it a regular solo, but he also did not call it a lack of a solo. if that's more correct, ok.

what is wrong with my argument? it's a solo by definition.

here is the definition of a solo
so·lo (sl)
n. pl. so·los
1. Music A composition or passage for an individual voice or instrument, with or without accompaniment.

Buckethead rocks, deal with it.

I'm going to try and review Funnel Weaver, never listened to it all through, because it's a bit of an odd setup, but we'll see what happens.

The only thing ridiculous here is going back and finding all those fucking quotes. What if I said I like to listen to Prince solos in daisy dukes while waxing my dads corvette? What if I said I like to deliver pizzas to my ex-girlfriends while listening to george michael solos? What if I said your pumpkin avatar sucks? What if I said I will go very far to claim how amazing jesus christ solos on guitar while I make a milkshake?
