Roy Khan leaves Kamelot: Kosmo = Sad

For some time now there has been talk of Khan leaving Kamelot, and now it's official. Apparently he decided to leave last autumn but Thomas asked him to think it over but he stuck with the decision.

What i gather from all of this is that he found other things more important than music, in this case it was God and religion. I'm sure Thomas and others will start looking for a new singer after the tour, hopefully they find someone good.

Well I guess that makes him an anti-anti-Christ of some sort.

As an old Kamelot-fan I'm sad to see him go, but I didn't like their last two albums that much, so perhaps this might be end up being the best for everyone.

Sunday i'm gonna check Kamelot out with fabio Leone. It's sad but a brave discision to leave Kamelot,i alway admire people that do what they feel....

I wonder if the last albums had any to do with his real decision. They were not really "kamelot-style" metal, but way more gothic and not as good as the old stuff. Well, there's one good thing we can get from this...

Kamelot without Khan will still probably be a good band.
And whatever band Khan gets into will get much better, so we fans get double the goodness!

Well, this was obvious since began the rumors about the Roy's new religion and we have to add the other part, Roy wouldn't continue with Kamelot 'cause he's sick yet (He needs peace like any human being) and maybe a little try could do the same thing like Stratovarius and TT but after all the fans have to trust on Thomas Youngblood and his intuition with the talent people like he did with Roy years ago.

I think big part of the succes of that band was, khan charisma and voice, now that he is gone, Kamelot is on a big risk of become "just another band"

Khan for me is the "VOICE" of Kamelot. Now, he's gone because of Catholicism. Damn Shame....
