70000 Tons of Metal Wedding?

Post by brian Levendoski »

My wife and I are planning on renewing our wedding vows while on the cruise. The reason we booked the cruise last time was to see Stratovarius and when the cancelled we were heartbroken. And when we saw the band was playing on the next cruise we were elated. We are in the middle of setting this up through Ultimate Music Cruises and Royal Carribean Cruises. We would be honored to have the band present at the ceramony or maybe even participate in some way.It would make our world if somehow this could be pulled off.I'm hoping anyone who reads this and knows the band, will somehow inform them of this project.I know that Jens reads this forum alot. Any help in this matter is very appreciated. This will be our 13th year of marriage and we both have become VERY fond of Stratovarius. Have traveled as many as 8 hours to see them in the US. I am also turning my 11 year old on to the band. He has already seen and met them in Chicago on the Polaris tour. Anyone who wishes to discuss this matter with us can conact us at BJL442@aol.com or call us directly at 517 599 9921 or 517 599 9147.We are really pumped that our favorite band can make this happen.
Thanks..Brian and Jennie Levendoski from Lansing Michigan USA

Have you tried going to Soviet Russia? I bet that would make things a lot easier.

:cyclop:

Anyway, happy anniversary! :P

Wow! I never heard of this!

http://www.70000tons.com/

It is amazing, but man, extremely expensive. I could not afford it.

Guys, take a look at the bands.. Oh my

http://www.70000tons.com/artists.htm

Sometimes I'd like to have 'that' money for being able to go... If it weren't for the pricing... http://www.70000tons.com/pricing.htm

Also, I don't understand this package offer: does it mean that the bands are sleeping on the most expensive rooms? Or they leave by helicopter?

as I understand the bands spend at least one day in the boat, the cheaper rooms sold very quickly man, you gotta keep track of those, this is one of my goals next year and mostly like.....if they do it again , im fuckin there dude!

every band was on the boat the whole time. It was like one big family 2000 fans and 40 bands in 1 BIG backstage area (the whole boat) Got drunk with Many band members and the got up the next morning and ate breakfast together with them. There is nothing like it.

Well I started this thread as a serious topic. Important to my wife and I.And all replies turned into childish derailment. Thanks I expected a little more from a forum of a grown up band like Stratovarius

The band is grown up, but I have a long ways to go. :) :spin2:

PS: Can I still drop in on the wedding? I volunteer to perform "Born in the USA" by Bruce Springsteen, as it is my favorite song of all time.

I will not be wearing pants.

PS#2: In real life, I look like the guy from 1:40-1:43 in this video, but with no discernible musical talents and a less fun-loving personality. :)

Brian, congratulations...That's an awesome way to renew your vows! I wish I could be there but I don't think I'll be able to save up enough this year. I just hope Strato does this again another year. I'll try e-mailing Jens about this--I've been having this default mail client problem, but I'll see what I can do...
