I want to let you guys know that I have enjoyed discussing with you these issues over the last few days. Even the people I have disagreed with. It is the diversity of our opinions that makes this place special and I am sorry to anyone that I have offended in the process, as naturally things can get heated with important issues.
I am going to leave this forum for now. I have many exciting things coming up that I can focus on. The good ALWAYS outweighs the bad. There are two kinds of criticism. Key to the universe is love.
We have different opinions and sometimes it is difficult to remain respectful, so once again I apologize to those who I have hurt. Take care and have fun!
Cheers,
Sumerian

Re: New Stratovarius drummer (your thoughts or preferences)
What's funny is he's just randomly throwing out insults, I mean if he had really listened to Elysium then he couldn't even make the comparison that he did.
Secondly I don't know what he's talking about when he talks about the symfonia forum, it's a good forum but it's not the freaking utopia he makes it out to be, it's just a forum where music is discussed just like any other forum.
His statements have proven to me without a doubt that he has not done any research on these subjects he's talking about.
In other words trying to seem educated on subjects he is very much ignorant on.

He waste's his time here, I think the guy must be a Masochist or something because all he does is come in and hurl insults.

Sumerian wrote:If you guys really do like Elysium, that is fine. I can't argue with your musical experience. Anyway, the album is not a great work but I can understand why some might enjoy it since even Britney Spears is popular. But one thing I wonder recently, why is Symfonia forum so different than here?
There it seems the members are all an upper-class elite. I see everyday there lawyers, doctors, scientists, engineers, artists, and painters joining hands together and discussing key world issues in very peaceful way such as global warming, religion, and peaceful things as dolphins, united nations, rainbows, etc (just examples). All kinds of gifted people learning from each other.
Here I ask myself, why are people just fucking dumbasses? Robocop, AAAAAA's, BBBBB's, CCCCC's, eternity_strato. It is like I am dealing with retards. And the minute I express my opinion, I am attacked in extremely violent way.
Why is Symfonia forum such a bastion for intellectual growth, and here is just a bunch of fucking idiots fighting?
The answer to this question is simple. Think about it.

His opinion couldn't take that and he is more than bitter and disillusioned. He will try to heal in silence. Poor guy. He was a misslead soul.

That is true in the official statement they said he is only replacing Uli for this next album and that if things start looking better for Uli he'll be back in the band.

It would be stupid to annouce a new drummer until the mini-farewell-jörg-tour is over.

That is true Rage1979 but we are simply stating our opinions on who should succeed Jorg once he has left.
