It's just funny because it seems every site he puts up seems to always have the same problems after awhile.

And now I know I'm not welcome on the Symfonia forum. Kinda surprised about the lack of activity there, I guess you could say...

There is some sinful pleasure in that everything written about TT here somehow hits the nerve))

I had noticed as well, I would like to see if I can get some contact information from a few people so I can stay in touch with them outside of there as well.

Well apparently I can't do that now cause the one's I wanted to talk with are gone and my account is being deleted.

Well I tried to make sense of it all however I've now reserved myself to the fact that this will never make any sense.

Apparently the fact that I even started this thread is cause to give me the boot even though I never personally attacked the man, which I'm sure others will see differently.

I was just curious as to why it was even shut down and why it seems to happen so frequently with the forums that TT puts up. Standard quest for knowledge but I guess that can be taken as a personal attack.

I still wish TT well and hope that things go well with him.

At least now I have my answers.

He's Pasi Rantanen's slightly more famous alter-ego.

They both incredibly lack vocal talent.

What answers are those exactly ?!

Well I still have my symfonia forum account there anyway :D

Until Shitolkki doesnt pay his bills again ..

Its super fun to read forum invaded by spam bots , and occasional post in a month about cooking recipies ! And some scared posts by fans tippytoeing on egg shells so they dont get booted out .. by the lord of the wasteland!

Its also great feeling there now that you can be deleted for what you say in other forums, even if its very innocent!!

But you woldnt know that hiro no more ...... since you were banned!!!

But for us lucky ones who remain symfonians, a very cheerful place it is!

Ingredients:
5dl of water
4dl of oatmeal
1 pouch of dry yeast (I've used somewhat 11g pouch)
1 teaspoonful of salt
1 tablespoonful of sugar
0.5dl of rape-seed oil
6 dl of wheat-flour

to lubricate: egg
on top: some oatmeal

just make this recipe and enjoy yourselves. remember to lubricate and then put some oatmeal on top

Well, the Symfonia Forum was up and running last night because I posted a recipe there. Is it dead again, in the space of 10 hours? ???

Well it seems to me like Tolkki killed all form of activity on the forum by kicking out everyone who was involved in this thread and who portrayed the forum in a negative way, shape or form.

Basically, we've gone back to 1934 era Germany. Enjoy the trip guys.

 "Other people" just checked out the forum (once in a year) and were pleasantly surprised to find their accounts ACTIVE!
Well, the atmosphere of a place really reminds me of those abandoned industrial ghost-towns. But still nice to see how sensativly mr.t praise the whole stratoforum and our beloved "hidden section" in particular.
Maybe now when one of tt's 24 accounts here will read these lines, the terrible fate in the form of momentary Bann, finally overtake our maliciour black souls ass well (?)nobody cares anyway

So Ready? Steady? BANN!! :banana1: :uzi:

He pointed to this thread in particular Icecab, I'm the one who started it so how was I supposed to take that?

Either way I told him to go ahead and delete my profile, I still wish him well but I will no longer be following his forums if I'm going to get punished for asking about why these things happen.

I mean what am I supposed to think when every site I go to that he puts up at some point gets shut down. That is a pattern and I wanted to know why it keeps happening?

Dear Stratofriends,

Yesterday, I was thinking.
The thing was, I couldn’t think of a forum or a website or anything to describe the way TT said he had to have. I'm not too crazy about describing forums and
websites anyway.

Excellent suggestion!

Who knows!? :)

If you define "forever" to mean "more than two years", then -- definitely! I lose track of the life spans of the forums Timo T has shut down, but I do remember that the Symfonia forum is number three (at least, perhaps something escapes my memory here). Before this one, there was the "Hymn to Life" forum, then the RR forum. Both of those had a substantial investment by their respective users and in both cases the plug was just pulled without much warning. With regards to the "Hymn to Life" forum I now actually remembered something odd -- he deleted all the content at some point and blamed it on a hacker, then kept it alive for some time further, and then pulled the plug definitively.

I suspect that if we were ever closing this, there would be plenty of notice, and anyone interested would have the opportunity to download the contents (you know.. thread by thread as text and then a big tarball of that, or something)

I'm sometimes toying with the idea to import older stratoforum messages here as well. There was an external site which hosted the forum in the early days and I think I have an archive of that, somewhere.

I still remember the pains we (read: I) took to not deny people access to their old mail after we switched from tforum........

Regarding Timo T's recent claim that any hostility toward him in this place reflects the "sickness of this band", I just have to point out (again) that Timo himself of his own free will used the stratoforum to

a) try to blackmail the mother of his child
b) post pictures of his own dick
c) threaten to rape someone

If people express any degree of upset at him, I would say this reflects his own behavior, and has nothing to do with Stratovarius.
