I'm mainly talking about the Blu-Ray player as I'm not too sure how easy it is to import or find a PAL Blu-Ray player. DVD wise I'm completely fine but my Blu-Ray collection needs growth (currently only The Shining and Inception)

If it is just the European region I'll probably pick up the DVD or the CDs at the least! I absolutely loved Polaris Live and it was my proper introduction to this band other than a couple of older Infinite songs my brother found online years ago mislabeled as Sonata Arctica.

I was a fan of Cain's Offering at the time and saw Polaris' Deluxe Edition (with Live) in HMV and thought to myself, how could I go wrong for 15 pounds?

And that's how I fell in love with Stratovarius! I know it's unrelated.

Well, I first came to this forum looking for an NTSC version of Infinite Visions, so I will hope that there will be one released somewhere down the line, even if it isn't right away.

I'm awfully curious about what extras they're gonna add. Matias said something about 5.1 extras, and the new Lauri vid makes me hope for a Tour in Progress-Seven-Sinners-Special... that would be awesome! Or maybe something from the other farewell shows, I so love to think back to them. Or... nah... but I'd love Elysi- nah, can't have everything. People, just imagine we're able to blow our speakers AND tvs in a few weeks with that DVD

If you have Blu-ray drive in your computer you can watch the European version in South America with VLC Player. Of course it's possible to hack your external BD player somehow, but I wouldn't go for that.

Damn, this is amazing. that blu ray set seems incredible. It is finally, a really good and quality live release by Stratovarius. Sadly, it is all about Jörg goodbye, but well...what to do. I hope they'll release more live albums and blu rays with the new drummer and all about the new Stratovarius (Polaris, Elysium, the next album...)

"Rewinding..." sounds like a documentation, can't say I'm too excited about that... but let's see! 5.1 mix will be awesome, if I could only listen to it with a 5.1 system

STRATOVARIUS "UNDER FLAMING WINTER SKIES - LIVE IN TAMPER" OUT JUNE 2012

The news of Jörg Michael’s withdrawal in September 2011 was a shock for all Stratovarius fans.
To say goodbye to a friend, hero and member who characterized the band's sound for over a decade, the band headed to a 5 show spanning farewell tour in Finland in November last year.

"The rest of us just has to accept Jörg's decision with a lot of sadness and wish him all the best for the future. But we can also assure that the band will still go on", says the singer Timo Kotipelto.

Before coming back with a brand new studio album in 2013, Stratovarius are now releasing a 2h spanning live show filmed and recorded in Tampere, Finland, November 19th 2011.
This is one of the very last shows with drummer and key-member Jörg Michael.

"Under Flaming Winter Skies - Live In Tampere" marks the end of an era as well as a new beginning, due for release on June 29th.

Hits and classics like "Under Flaming Skies", "Speed Of Light" and "Hunting High And Low" as well as exclusive bonus material (30 min documentary about the band's history, exclusive interviews with each member as well as a special comment from Jörg Michael about the reasons to leave the band) makes it a must-have for every fan and a real collector's item not to miss.
