Make this guy permanent member of Stratovarius!
Two guitarists live now!

don't do it, create songs that need 2 guitarists and have the 1 guitar player play both guitar parts in the studio, but only have 1 for the live show so we can miss out on the guitar work. great plan.

Another addition to Stratovarius means every band member's income is reduced by 20% (now split across 6 people). In these harrowing times, I think not!

But I would pledge not to wipe my butt for a year if he made a Cain's Offering Pt. 2. If that's any incentive whatsoever.

Why?
Matias can play as good as having 4 guitar players on stage.

It could be a good idea. Jani's style is much closer to Tolkki, so they could have him playing all the TT solos while Matias does mostly his own stuff. ...No..?

Personally I'm very happy with the direction and style Matias keeps adding to the band, and I definitely want that to go on. This is and should remain his very own terrain in this band. Don't get me wrong, I like Jani, his current contributions on the album and his work in general a lot as well, but I think it would be hard for the two to make sure who's got the main dick in the band, if you know what I mean... and Jani loves his, you all know that. Would be great for some guest appearances though :)

Jani did a good job in this album and I hope he will contribute in future albums, but cmon...just because he is composing a song doesn't mean he should be a member of the band. This is a bit nonsene, but well.

Jani should not be brought in as a guitarist, the money situation is I'm sure tight enough as is.

He should however, write all their lyrics from now on.
They let us have signatures on this forum???

No need for that. Jani can keep making his own music (possibly in co-operation with TK) and Stratovarius can keep to their own thing as well. There are more than enough good songwriters in the band and Matias can handle all the guitars. + having anouther guitarist might mean less Jens.

I think the charm in Stratovarius, especially this new burst of life they've received, is that they have just one guitarist, and he's creating all sorts of crazy new original material. Though I can't say I'd ever be against Jani playing with Stratovarius!

Matias is a gift from god for Stratovarius,he has so much talent.
He is such much more then just a great guitarplayer, the fresh wind that brought strato back to the top in the scene :headbang:

once upon a time it was stratovarius ............
the new album has some nice elements fantasy is really cool but all in all it is ridiculous. the time stratovarius is touching peoples soul with its music is over. and needing limatainen to write songs ... no comment.

My soul has been touched by your comment. Can you feel the spirituality?
P.S.
