@Plisken I think I will try that Plisken! Thank you
@mcv92 Yeah the guitar/keyboard battles are just amazing, like the Legions one. I liked also from "Holy Solos" live performances how Jens uses to do a much longer keyboard solo than Timo Tolkki's guitar one haha. Timo told me once "what could I play else? haha".

Me? I don't have a band right now, I just play and upload stuff to internet, like this video I did yesterday playing Star Wars haha!

I'm a huge John Williams fan. Jens also plays a melody of "Jaws" in a Holy Solos live footage haha!

Wow, that was BEAUTIFUL! I could totally picture Jens doing that--besides, he's a big Star Wars geek like ME...

I think his solo on Angel of Babylon (Avantasia) deserves to be on the table, the GREAT FEELING he puts on it and the way it shows up with Sammet screaming HEAVEEEEEEEEEEN!!!!! makes it a wonderful job!

Also a great great song
EDIT: try it as your phone ringtone, u wont get tired of it i promise!

I'm bumping this thread because I bought a Korg Krome recently and am trying to learn the last synth solo to this song. It's become my favorite keyboard solo ever. It's fucking incredible. But how the hell did the topic creator learn this? I'm amazed. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to transcribe and it's hard enough trying to listen through the mix even when I've slowed it down.
I'm also trying to play it without tuning the board down... but maybe I will.
Makes me appreciate Jens's skills even more. This is a great minute of music

Also, another keyboardist here! And hello Jose, it's nice to see you on here! I think some of the new stuff from Nemesis is great, for example, the solo from Dragons is really good, and Kill it with Fire is another good keyboard song(reminds me of the older stuff!). If I had to choose a favorite solo from Jens, it would have to be the one from Riot in the Dungeons by Yngwie Malmsteen. It is one of those classics that you just have to love.

I love the solo on Learning To Fly and also the one on Emancipation Suite Part I.
But my favorite would be the solo/duel on Abandon.
