maybe if she signs something that benefits from her range would be better.
this song is the worst of the 3 samples.
I wonder if this girl understands that if this record doesnt work/sales the carreer is over and is gonna be twice as hard to make the label take another chance after a proven failure

saving money? is super expensive to do a high production album, maybe he rushed a bit on avalon II
you can expect to pay a minimun of 20000$ for a high end album.
I dont think TT has that spare change as for today.

Well if I was tight on money, I'd rather save money in the casting department, call up some of the old guys who would charge less. Maybe like Tuomo and Antti, they haven't been doing much. How busy has Gus Monsanto been lately?
Timo Tolkki is his own engineer and yourself are 4 idiots that cant do nothing that sound ok,
Timo Tolkki is better engineer and you all can't do a shit
Funny to see you suddenly praising Tolkki. You used to say he was absolute shit.
I won't argue that he is a better musician and engineer than I am though, that is true. I don't know how to engineer anything and while I enjoying making my own music, I'm not very good at it yet.

Again: it's very ironic to see you suddenly praising Tolkki.
Again, I'm not going to argue with you. Tolkki knows about engineering that stuff, I don't. He's a professional musician (although his quality is questionable nowadays) and I'm not.
the question is why yourself, and all the persons of all this silly forum, that was lost long time ago, destroy people for fun, included when they can't log on?
and sure, yourself don't know nothing, and your country sucks too

Haha, you're right that my country sucks. America isn't the greatest of places to be
I don't destroy anyone, I'm pretty neutral about most everything. I don't really bother chasing anyone on this forum in particular, and I don't know whether or not they're able to log on, and frankly I don't really care.

And if the forum is so silly, then just leave.
USA #1
get out
No
Well USA is a lot better than some places but could stand to be better, I guess that's more of what I meant. I don't hate it but I don't love it.
"I know that many of you have been wondering where I have disappeared. The reason is that for 1,5 years I have been seriously ill. Now I start feeling a bit better. I hope that during upcoming autumn I can start planning the final 3rd part of my Avalon saga. Thanks for your support. Timo". - Timo Tolkki, Facebook, August 20, 2015

Glad he's going to finnish it. The third RR album was by far the best, maybe this will be the same!
Listening to this album now. It's actually not too too bad. Caterina Nix has a nice voice and the production is flawless.
Both singles would sound amazing if the drums were doubled. It's not going to interfere with the poppiness of the sound at all, you can see other groups do it all the time - Within Temptation uses it all the time, and hell, Stratovarius's own Deep Unknown shows how you can make a fast pop song.
Timo does try to mix up the sound a bit, but he's going about it the wrong way. He's always been a bit weak in his transitions - hell, even Holy Light just kinda stops about 3 minutes in making you wonder why the song isn't over yet. He'll get it right once in a while and then you'll get Dreamspace or Fantasia. You'll start up a song, first 10 seconds "this is great", but then it'll go completely to the left and won't recover until the chorus comes in or something.
But what it's really lacking is variety. Every song has nearly the same fake chorus, the same synths, the same sounding guitar backing. I got bored six songs in and normally I have the patience of a saint with these kinds of things. The lyrics don't stand out to me, the instrumentals don't stand out to me, nothing except Nix's voice really grabs my attention.
"Point of No Return" is a sexy song though. Really great way to close out the album.
