Re: Last Albums you got

Bought a few Nocturnal Rites records... Shadowland earlier from somewhere and the rest I ordered just yesterday from http://www.jollyrogerstore.com/ . Waiting to get Stratovarius - Eternal LP from CDON
Also some CDs between December-January
from local shop ... more or less random picks out of curiosity, but actually Samsara ended up being pretty good one
To/Die/For - Samsara
HammerFall - Heeding The Call
The Cure - Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me
Demons & Wizards - III
and from wholesale (k-pop lol)
Pritz - Sora Sora
T-ara - So Good
T-ara N4 - Jeon Won Diary

Re: Last Albums you got

Ordered bunch of stuff lately, waiting for around 15 vinyls now, maybe a bit less, mostly Sonata. Should start expanding the Strato collection tho!
Here's other stuff that are not stuck somewhere and arrived already:

Iced Earth – Incorruptible, some sort of "artbook" version with two 10" vinyl and a CD. Didn't have any version of this album before, and it was for some reason pretty cheap

Bad album in my opinion, but yeah. Kind of big box with vinyls, digipak, some card, a poster and a jigsaw puzzle. Somehow this was still available for normal price in big webshop

Nordic and Baltic indie record store exclusive.

It really does!
Some Helloween reissues and I guess the Blind Guardian one is from the release year.

Re: Last Albums you got

Sonata reissues and new Helloween single
if Finland had physical singles chart, it would have taken #1 spot

Re: Last Albums you got
Bought ~400 releases (including singles, DVDs and all) since last post, one of the last ones being Royal Sorrow - Innerdeeps. Bought from their merch table when they were support band for Sonata Arctica in Finland recently.
Re: Last Albums you got
Not exactly a album, i bought the sonata single or whatever they were calling it, the 30th anniversary song celebration. Freedom concept.
And a few other single songs for testing mixes i enjoyed, back and forth like the michael romeo part 1 solo album of the track fear the unknown, and for a more commercial sound to compare..one of these newer megadeth albums, maybe 10 plus years old album it was, i am not sure. The magic of bandcamp is you can get the wav for lots of stuff, not the megadeth one though.

Re: Last Albums you got
I understood from some Finnish interview (that Tony & Tommy gave in TV) there was supposed to be a compilation album which would include this. But never heard a thing after that, maybe it comes with the photobook thing or maybe not.robocop wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2026 9:00 pm Not exactly a album, i bought the sonata single or whatever they were calling it, the 30th anniversary song celebration. IMO compilation albums (especially nowadays..) in general suck balls unless there's something special. One new/unreleased song along with the most known songs from whole discography doesn't quite do much. Liner notes help a little bit as it's nice read and more reason to check the booklet.

They need to kick Pasi in his mudd mixing testicles and remaster the previous records, capisce? You know the ones I mean, not the oldest ones.SatanicSmile wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2026 9:58 pmI understood from some Finnish interview (that Tony & Tommy gave in TV) there was supposed to be a compilation album which would include this. Re: Last Albums you got
It may help hear them (The Ninth Hour & Talviyö) in new light, but doesn't change "the fact" the first one has unbalanced pussy/big boy balance among tracks and at least on the latter Tony had issues with voices. Doing Talviyö all over again would make a change but I swear there's better ways to spend time and resourcesrobocop wrote: Sat Mar 14, 2026 11:19 pmThey need to kick Pasi in his mudd mixing testicles and remaster the previous records, capisce? My place is a shithole, probably a virus came from the inside. I APOLOGIZE. Nobody was sick in the house lately, but I can see how filth can make anyone not used to it sick. Its unfortunate. But my reality of turds.SatanicSmile wrote: Sun Mar 15, 2026 1:55 amI went to many places that day (I think a day or two before that also) and recently dropped heating at home maybe too muchrobocop wrote: Sun Mar 15, 2026 1:47 am![]()
