Italian bands needed

Hi guys,

I have questions for you.

My dad has planned to go to Roma next year, he learns a bit of Italian, and he would like to discover Italian bands singing in Italian, as he is fed up with Zucchero and stuff like that.

He enjoys rock, a bit of metal (Dream Theater, Mägo de Oz, some Maiden, Stratovarius, etc, needs to be melodic and not "brutal"), and jazz.

Could you please give me a few band names so he can check them ?

Do you know if there are bands in the style of Rhapsody but with Italian lyrics?

Still ok if the bands are more pop/folk, even a bit old.
