More hard rock, no symphonic elements, not Bon Jovi, but metal.

That's pretty much what I wanted to listen... but I sense people will hate it :)

What do you think? Is it going to sound like Winger?

Words from Tony:
Some change will come. You will get something really beautiful and simple but also complex and confusing material. But I think the most complicated stuff was in the 2 previous albums. At this moment most of the songs last under 4 minutes. Some of the songs are called now under working such as 'Wildfire II' and 'Wildfire III'. One of the names has a word 'shit' in it at the moment. We are that bad guys!

Oh hell yes.

Without starting the inevitable debate about the quality of their last two albums vs. their older material, I think Sonata Arctica has put out nothing but pure gold since their first album. I love it all, and I'm pretty sure I'll love this too.

Sound interesting so far. The beautiful and simple stuff worries me a little, though - after their previous albums I think they would consider slightly symphonic poppy rock as such.
