Patrick Kluivert got sent off in the 98 World Cup match against Belgium for EXACTLY the same reason. So did Wayne Rooney against Portugal, and I don't know how many other times the same thing has happened.

Yes. All those ignorant assholes that treated him like a dog before the Championship (most of the media, paul breitner, sepp maier, matthäus, even beckenbauer, politicians, the list is endless...) are the ones who are responsible that Germany's best coach since I don't know, since a long time, quits his job. I can understand him. It wasn't easy for him, and he is not so stupid to think after a succesfull World Championship they would let him do his job without disturbance.
A pity. I wish Jogi Löw all the best, I know he is a good coach, but he might have it even harder than Klinsmann...

I am glad that Italy won, eventhough their game for that last game wasn´t so fair.
And concerning what Zidane did, I think it was really immature and unprofessional! If he really supported the team and so on, he would have done NOTHING, coz he knew the team needed him. Instead of that, he acted selfishly and stupidly. If one player says smt to you on the field, u should solve it off the field. So ja, I agree with Dawn, great that he got kicked from the game.
