In my opinion, Stalin lived in such hard time that very often circumstances were the causes of his actions. Anyways, we didn't live then and cannot know everything, we can just guess... And about Putin - his time is more quiet. We Russians have seen just good things from him, so I'd like to see him every day on TV in his president role or premier role or something. From an outsider's point of view, Putin is what Russia needed at this time. Yeah, probably some people feel awkward about it. But the only problem I have with Putin's doing-everything-possible-just-to-stay-at-the-power is that it has nothing to do with democracy. It's absolutely the same undemocratical regardless if it's in Russia or Trinidad or wherever else. If our (ex)president started behaving like Putin, I would critisize him in the same way.Carcass wrote:Personally I don't think that Russia is a threat to Finland.
