however, the RPG on internet are cool, when you can't go to play in a real group; and you can know many people there but the best option is play in a real group. When you try, you'll love it and you always want go to play in a real group.
Right now, i'm playing on four groups on internet.

I play a game called AdventureQuest. It's actually just a one-player game, but it is online and it plays in the browser, which is nice. It's two-dimensional and campy as hell, but it gives me something to play on the run without having to tote my XBox around or anything.
Let no man surrender so long as he is unwounded and can fight.
I used to be a DM in some forum-RPG. Very huge, one of the biggest in russian net - http://rolewood.ru/ - if it is not considered to be an advertisment +_+ After two years of mastering it pissed me off and I resigned =) And now about two weeks ago I became an ordinary player there. Damn, it is much better than to be a DM *_*
When I was young I had a friend who played text-based online RPGs. I think the one she played at the time was called Gemstone, or something similar. Do these kinds of things still exist or is everybody obsessed with graphics?
