What always gets me about driving to the deep South is how quickly you can get to Virginia and technically be in the South compared to how long the actual route is. Like that's when the states actually get big and it's a slog getting all the way through VA, then NC, and so on.
Back in the summer of 2011, when I was 14, my dad and I drove down to Virginia to buy an Ibanez RG1527. I remember looking forever for that guitar online, but had a lot of trouble finding the specific variant of RG1527 that I wanted. I remember that the trip took around 12 hours, round-trip, and that I was listening to Sonata Arctica's songs the whole way.
By the way, SentineLEX, I was that weird guy who sent you an over-long Facebook message a few years ago. I was really impressed with your keyboard skills that you showcased in this thread:
I play keyboard pretty fast
Back then, I saw that you were in NJ, so I was like, "Wow! This guy lives pretty close to me, we like the same bands, and he's a keyboard badass! We should jam some time!"

So, after I sent you my ridiculously long message, you sent me a reply about socks or something, and I was like, "Huh?"
